Greetings my Brothers and Sisters in the matchless name
of our Lord!
On the day that I am writing this article it does not appear
to be, but we are yet on the very threshold of spring. We
stand in the shadows of the season of celebration. We
celebrate the resurrection of our once crucified Savior,
Jesus Christ. Please join us as we observe, Palm Sunday. It
is traditionally called the triumphant entry of our Lord, as
he entered into Jerusalem. He rode on a colt as the
conquering King. He is in deed, King of Kings and Lord of
Lords!
On Good Friday we will commemorate the amazing sacrifice
that was made, when our Lord was crucified for all of
humanity. And while we may weep on Friday, all day Saturday,
until early Sunday morning at sunrise, we assure you that
Jesus Christ has in fact risen from the dead! At 8:30 on
Easter morning, our Sunday School will present their
traditional Easter commemoration. Then at 10:00 we will again worship
with a closing service and celebration of our Lord's
Resurrection.
Join us, bur more importantly pause to reflect.
Resurrection means that no matter how it looks, there is
indeed a living hope.
May God Bless You.
Your Shepherd,
Lincoln E. Montgomery
